    Will learn a lot

    I am currently attending Longview High School, I received an athletic scholarship for track/field. I have heard only good things about Lon Morris and I can hardly wait to began my learning adventures as a Bearcat!
    Will enjoy being here

    I will only be an hour and a half away from home, which make it convenient, when I need to hit my mom up for cash : )
    Bang for the buck

    it is a great, small campus. the professors are friendly and helpful. the students are well-behaved.
    Tips for prospective students

    try not to stay up too late and do your school work. you'll do fine if you follow those simple rules.
    Academic Rigor

    there are some easy classes and, for the others, you have to really pay attention.
    Dorm Life

    a couple of the halls need to be updated and there are some rules that need to be established.
    Food and Dining

    the food is okay on campus, but there should be other kinds of food besides the normal chicken nuggets and pizza.
    What to do for fun

    while in jacksonville, go to the theater or legends, the restaurant. another fun destination is lake jacksonville, if you like to swim, hang out with friends, or fish.
    Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus

    in the fall, this past semester, there were activities that involved homecoming, such as the gallon milk chugging contest or the bull bash.
    Great for these types of students

    if you like agricultural classes or activities, join the agricultural sciences class. they go to a couple of livestock shows, learn about judging livestock, and many other agricultural experiences. if you're more into hospitality, join in the hospitality administration program. this group is always on their feet doing something or going somewhere.
    Clubs and Activities

    there are many activities that happen on campus from student-lead chapel to movie night to omega fest.
    clubs range from religious to agricultural.
