Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot They have helpful teachers and offer a vast assortment of resources to utilize in your studies. Plus, there are two campuses to choose from that each have there own great qualities. I attend both campuses for the best selection of classes and the opportunity to benefit from what both have to offer.
Am enjoying being here I have had a very pleasant college experience so far. Everyone I encounter on campus is extremely friendly and helpful. I always am able to find what I need.
Bang for the buck The classes offered are extremely affordable. I am able to attend college full-time and still cover my expenses.
Tips for prospective students Just explore the school and what it has to offer.
Great for these types of students It is great for pretty much everyone. The student body is widely diverse and there are plenty of student clubs to explore and meet other students with similar interests. It is great for students who want to learn a lot without paying a lot.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot Most of the teachers at MCC are really educated and know what they are teaching. I think that they give the student everything they need to do well in whichever class they are taking and it is up to the student to grasp, memorize, or let it go. I personally have learned a lot and wish that it was a 4 year college because I feel like I would really educate myself there.
Am enjoying being here MCC has alot of different activities and programs to give a student an enjoyable time there. I do enjoy it there and found myself going earlier and staying later to just bask in the ambiance of the school and all of the people there. The teachers are all so caring and wanting the success of the student that some are willing to go that extra mile for the students. Even without mentioning the free food that is sometimes there, MCC is really enjoyable.
Bang for the buck MCC is one of the cheaper colleges to attend but I don't think you get what you pay for...I think you get more. The curriculum is a little higher than what you expect going into a community college. The teacher there seem to want to give you their knowledge so you can become as fascinated in the subject as they are.
Tips for prospective students Make sure to choose your teacher wisely because like at every institution there are teachers who enjoy teaching and there are teachers who could care less.
Great for these types of students I think it's great for every type of student out there. There is something for everyone.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot The professors here are great and because it is a community college, they are more focused on your education than research.
Am enjoying being here Mesa Community College tries to give the students a campus life. There are two coffee shops, stands around campus selling food, as occasional events to make it seem more like a university than a community college.
Bang for the buck MCC is definitely worth every penny. The advisors there are great at helping you find scholarships if you are in need of financial aid.
Tips for prospective students Community college is definitely a good idea for kids just pursuing their associates degree, but it is also a great idea for kids looking for a BA degree or above. Remember, employers are not looking for where you started out, but where you ended.
Great for these types of students Great for anyone in need of financial aid that can not afford university tuition, people looking for their associates degree, and kids who need an easy transition from high school to a university.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot I personally think that MCC isn't teaching me a lot because I feel as if it is all about memorization and regurgitation. The classes I have taken are all just focused on memorizing facts to pass a test. I don't think that is true learning. I find myself bored in each one of my classes because the teachers don't engage you in the subject, they just spit facts at you to get you to pass. Learning is so much more than that. Learning requires you to ask questions, and discover answers on your own in an interactive environment.
Am enjoying being here MCC is not the school for you if you are a creative person. The campus is really bland, the students are uninterested in what they are there for, and I feel it limits my creativity. The art classes are few and far between, and the general feel of the academic classes is monotonous and dull. I truly enjoy learning, and school is a passion of mine, but I count down the minutes until I can leave, which I never did when I was in high school.
Bang for the buck MCC is cheap, let's be real. The classes are really affordable, and with good financial aid, you can easily get all your classes paid for without breaking a sweat. Unfortunately with such cheap classes, I think the education is cheap too. They don't put enough effort into making people want to stay in their school, which is why you can start a class with 100 students, and within 3 weeks, you're down to 30 at the most.
Tips for prospective students If you are the kind of person who wants to skate by in school just to get a degree, then by all means attend MCC. If you really want to learn something and enjoy college, look somewhere else. Cheap education does not always means it is a good education.
Great for these types of students Anyone who does well in a monotonous, copy and paste sort of environment. If you want to go to school without having to go to school, check out MCC.

Tips for prospective students Great for cheaper tuition but high quality classes. Not a large campus so do not need a bike.
Academic Rigor Impressive quality of classes.
Dorm Life No Dorms.
Food and Dining There are two cafes and one cafeteria on campus plus many restaurants within walking distance. Many food vendors also come onto school grounds and sell.
What to do for fun The area is close to ASU so Mill Avenue nightlife is close as well as all the amenities the university offers.
Bang for the buck Very great quality of education for the amount you are paying.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus The Planetarium is an awesome place that doesn't get much use by students. The library is top notch with an awesome periodical reading room.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences Mesa Community College has earned it's title as the largest community college not only the country, but in the world. While this title does allow MCC to offer an incredibly wide array of programs and degrees for every interest and major, the quality of some instructors is lacking. Some instructors are checked out, and seem to be counting the days until retirement.
Tips for prospective students The most important tips that I can offer new students are to register early, and don't buy books until after the first day of class. There are tons of people always trying to register last minute, and the registration process becomes a madhouse. In addition, you will find that %50 of your instructors do not require the reading material. Don't lose money on books you can't return!
Academic Rigor There is a lot to be said for the fact that MCC's instructors will always keep you on your toes. There is such a colorful array of personalities and amount of diversity at MCC there is always something to new to learn from everyone you are surrounded with.
Dorm Life MCC has two central campuses with living nearby, but does not have any on-campus dorms.
Food and Dining Not really anything special. Vending machines in the hallways, breakfast burritos at the cafe in the morning, and cold sandwiches at lunch. Small cafe atmosphere, but incomparable service.
What to do for fun MCC's students populate every demographic and hobby that could be imagined. Yes, there are the typical college parties, which are never a bad time. But also, students can be found riding dirt bikes, attending concerts, traveling around the state and myriad other occupations on the weekends.
Bang for the buck You will not find a better education for a better price than at MCC. While there are many reminders of the fact that MCC is a community college and not a university, those reminders only go to enhance the uniqueness of the world-class education that you will receive at MCC.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Everybody who attends MCC at the main Southern and Dobson campus loves the Pita Jungle across the street. It is a laid-back, student dominated joint where vegans and jocks can live and eat as one.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences Mesa Community College has a great staff, and good class sizes. Most credits will transfer to universities like ASU. The online program is great as well.
Tips for prospective students Meet with an adviser/counselor and make a set 2-year goal. You want to make sure that you will be taking classes that will count towards your 4 year degree.
Academic Rigor The classes are just as challenging as the ones taught at a 4-year university. However, they are not impossible, and there are great tutoring service available on campus and online.
Dorm Life MCC does not have dorms.
Food and Dining There are not on campus dining choice. however, there are plenty of places in the surrounding area, including Oregano's and Pita Jungle. Most are within walking distance, and are worth it if you have the time before your next class.
What to do for fun Because it is a community college, there are not as many activities or clubs around campus as a university like ASU. But every once in a while, there is free food if you look around. You can also attend the concerts and plays.
Bang for the buck The best part of Mesa Community College is the price. It's maybe a quarter of what you'll pay at the university, but you're still getting the same credits. You may even get a better education due to the small classes allowing for more one on one interaction with the teachers.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Every Wednesday there's a big group of larpers who practice outside of the library. It's can be fun to watch.
Great for these types of students Anyone who can't take a traditional 4-year schedule, due to price or life schedule.
Anyone unsure of their major wishing complete the general credits.
People who are returning to school.Clubs and Activities There aren't many clubs or activities on campus, though you can find some active ones if you look hard enough.
Greek Life MCC is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, the community college honors program. There are no fraternities on campus though.
Campus Safety I have never felt danger on campus at MCC, even when I took night classes. The campus is well lit, and there is always someone from campus safety roaming around. There are also many emergency call boxes placed around campus and in the parking lot.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences All of the Mesa Community campuses are well taken care of, well equipped and well staffed. The atmosphere is welcoming and staff is accessed easily and quickly for those who need them. The classes are conducted professionally but with the personalty of a community college.
Tips for prospective students Make it a point to get to know your professors and allow them to get to know you as well. This will make everything easier and more enjoyable.
Academic Rigor The professors do not baby the students but they do care.
Dorm Life Apartments close to campus are clean and reasonably priced.
Food and Dining The food found in the cafeteria is slightly more expensive than many would like but all of it is fresh and cooked well and the workers are friendly.
What to do for fun Numerous clubs and associations are available for each student in various subjects so that no one person will feel unwelcome.
Bang for the buck There are great restaurants within walking distance of each campus.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus The Kirk Center at the Dobson and Southern campus is a great place for athletes to study and converge.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences All in all, Mesa Community College is a very affordable and conveniently located school. This college is very easy to apply to and get accepted; I applied on Tuesday and was in class Wednesday. Along with these, it seems like all the professors love to attend class and teach at this school, this makes classes very positive environment for learning.
Tips for prospective students For students looking into the future and would like to save money in the beginning of they're schooling this school is the way to go. You can get all your basics done at the fraction of a University cost and still transfer every credit in the end.
Academic Rigor Classes are very easy to pass, long as you attend very class you are assigned.
Dorm Life There is no dorm on campus, however there is very close living all around the school.
Food and Dining There is cafe's on campus and a food court area.
What to do for fun There is lots of on campus activities that students can get active in and students love to have study sessions.
Bang for the buck It is only 76 dollars a credit hour, and compared to a University this price is amazing. Then when you've completed the classes you need you can transfer your credits over to the University you need.

Great for these types of students Apply now! And if you attend class every day you are very likely to pass every class you have!

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences Mesa Community College is an amazing school with a large diversity of choices for majors and for classes. You can take general core classes, classes for fun, or classes towards an associates degree all at the same time while completely enjoying the entire experience at a very affordable price. The professors are all phenomenal at what they do and they are all there to help you out as long as you're trying to help yourself out.
Tips for prospective students If you're looking to attend Mesa Community College, it's a good school to start at or even possibly end at. If you're looking to dip your foot in the water to try to find a field that interests you, you can do so at a very affordable price while having fun doing so. It's a good school to experiment in different fields, get core classes done, or to get an associates in a field that other schools don't offer.
Academic Rigor The professors all know what they're doing and all love doing it. You can tell that they definitely enjoy teaching students about the fields they are in and also are very willing to help as long as you're willing to help yourself as well. Of course, there's always going to be professors who aren't as good as others, so just make sure to choose the better ones. A good tool for that is www.ratemyprofessors.com.
Dorm Life There are no dorms at Mesa Community College.
Food and Dining The food on campus is all very affordable and tastes pretty good as well. There's also a large assortment of restaurants and fast food joints in the close surrounding areas.
What to do for fun You can socialize with other students around campus, hang out with your professors on your and their off time, read, practice music if you're into music, go to clubs, or even just walk around campus... there's all sorts of things available to do for fun on campus and a lot events also happen.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences Its a very well academically prepared school, I have not had any issue with learning. I would recommend people to go to this school before they go to a 4 year college because here they prepare you before you are ready to leave. They have a variety of many different academic classes you can take.
Tips for prospective students I would say that this school has a variety of things you can take. I believe they have any type of class you are looking for. The teachers there help you out in anything you need.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences MCC is a college full of diverse students from all sorts of backgrounds and cultures. The courses are taught in smaller classrooms, which is good if you do not perform well in larger classes. Most importantly, the cost for tuition and books is considerably less than at a university.
Tips for prospective students Some words of advice for potential students - don't be afraid if you have no idea what you want to major in, because chances are you'll probably change your mind a few times - just relax. Get all of your general studies out of the way, and decide early if you want to be a transfer student and move on to a university, or if you want to stay at MCC and get your associate's degree in a shorter amount of time (everyone's careers and lives are different). Work hard, come with an adult mindset because you'll need it directly out of high school, and don't underestimate the work and the lifestyle of college because it's not all fun and games and you'll need to adopt (if you haven't already) an independent attitude and try to change your habits.
Academic Rigor The courses can range from easy to fairly diffiult, depending on your major, level of prior knowledge, and work ethic.
Dorm Life MCC has no housing.
Food and Dining The Thunderbird Cafe is good, but not great. The pricing is especially outrageous especially in this economy, for ok-tasting food.
What to do for fun There are tons of clubs to get involved in on campus for whatever one can fathom, and you can take leisure classes like tai-chi, yoga, a botany class to teach you how to start your own gardens, and so on. There are also alot of activities that go on during the Clubs Carnivals, that happen every few months or so.
Great for these types of students Great for students who can't afford ASU or any other in-state or out-of-state tuition/room & board, students who didn't take SAT's or ACT's, students who didn't apply or qualify for scholarships or financial aid.
Clubs and Activities Horticulture club, Muslims Awareness Club, LARPing club, Choir club, LGBTQ club, PTK (Phi Theta Kappa) Honors Society, etc.
Greek Life PTK Honors Society, Psi Beta, etc.
Campus Safety Okay, the security travels by bikes.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences There is a lot of diversity. There are not too many students. The teachers really care about their students.
Tips for prospective students Because there is so much diversity, most of the students here are going to be accepting so don't worry about not fitting in. Learn how to use WebCT on the evening of your first day of school. Most of the information about the class and many of the handouts and assignments will be posted on this website. Ask your professors if you need help. They are more than willing to help you. If you need math tutoring, don't rely on the math tutoring center, it's too risky and hit and miss. Instead, try forming a study group with classmates. Make sure at least one person in the group is doing well in the class. If you are not able to gather a study group, just ask people around you if you can have their phone numbers so you can contact them with questions. Ask your math instructor questions as well.
Academic Rigor I believe it is as difficult or more difficult than the state universities. The math department is especially rigorous.
Dorm Life MCC doesn't have a lot of dorms, although I have heard of apartments, they are not on campus and they are expensive.
Food and Dining Before I came to MCC there was no place to really dine, except for a hot dog stand, a grill, and two coffee shops. I heard that they had just put the restaurant in. There is only one restaurant and the food is expensive and mediocre. There is also a hot dog stand and that is alright but still somewhat expensive. The coffee shops are great! It's some of the best coffee I have had.
What to do for fun You can go bowling at the bowling alley across the street or shop at the Fiesta Mall, which is about a mile away from campus.
Bang for the buck Although you don't get all the events and amenities that a university has, you get a good education, which is really what you are in college for, right?
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus One of my favorite places on campus is the Grounds For Thought coffee shop. It is near the library. This place has a great wi-fi internet connection compared to many other spots on campus. The coffee is really good and the couches are comfy.
Great for these types of students Those who work full time or who want to save some money and don't need all those extra things that the university offers.
Clubs and Activities MCC has a lot of different clubs. There are clubs that coincide with your major, such as Psi Beta, the psychology honor society, Sigma Chi Eta, the communication honor society, future educator's club, or geology club. There is also an outdoor club, a ballroom dance club, a chess club, and a social justice club.
Greek Life I don't know of any Greek life.
Campus Safety The safety department keeps a close eye on what happens on campus and, at night, the campus is very lit up. Even after the campus closes, the parking lots are fully lit to ensure safety.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences mesa community college is a great place to get some of the general classes done. the class sizes are small offering one on one assistance and a personal learning experience. the campus is conveniently located and very easy to get around.
Tips for prospective students take as many generals as you can! the tuition is very affordable and the teachers are very willing to help.
Academic Rigor the classes are, in my opinion, as challenging as they need to be. they are not overly challenging to try and trick you but the are not so simple that it feels like a waste of time.
Dorm Life i live off campus and i don't think that are dorms for the campus. there are apartments located very near to the campus though.
Food and Dining there is a lot of variety of foods located very close to the campus and the cafeteria on the campus is not too bad.
What to do for fun the campus is not too far from the university offering many of the amenities that are available there
Bang for the buck i think mcc is a great place to get a lot, if not all of your generals done. the tuition is very inexpensive and you get a quality education.
Great for these types of students great for all types of students
Clubs and Activities there are many clubs and offer many activities on the campus with free food and prizes.
Campus Safety there are campus safety officers always riding their bikes around campus and the parking lots are all video monitored. i have not experienced myself a feeling of uneasiness or danger.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences mcc is a great place to go to school either to get ready to go to a 4 year university or to get ready for a new career. the classes are really affordable. the campus is really navigable.
Tips for prospective students bring water since everything is outside and it gets really hot during the day when it's not winter. make sure to show up every day since most classes have attendance as part of the grade.
Academic Rigor the gen ed classes are pretty average but the classes that are specialized into specific areas are really focused. the teachers are really knowledgeable and on average are glad to help people out.
Dorm Life there is always something to do on campus. there is always posters up about something going on somewhere.
Food and Dining there's a ton of restaurants around campus and the food in the cafeteria isn't bad.
What to do for fun there is a huge variety of people around campus so you just have to find people to hang out with. there are always posters up about a ton of events going on.
Clubs and Activities tons of clubs and it's really easy to start a new one if you don't find one that fits your interest as long as you find a faculty member to sponsor it.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences mesa community college is one of the largest community colleges in the nation and it is located in a busy area. but it still manages to have classes that are small enough that they can deliver a personal, meaningful student-teacher experience. on top of that, the courses that they offer are numerous, flexible, and completely reasonable.
Tips for prospective students take placement tests, become a member of phi theta kappa (the honor society), graduate from the honors program. set the standards high for yourself and you will see that there is much opportunity to go far at this school.
Academic Rigor even in the highest level math/science courses (which are arguably the most difficult classes of any subject), the teachers are still of sufficient quality to provide a pleasant experience that allows for any student to relax when needed.
Dorm Life this is a community college. i will rate a five because there are no dorms; housing is up to the student, so therefore dorm life was whatever i wanted it to be. 5/5.
Food and Dining there are a few coffee shops on location as well as a nice cafe. right outside the campus there are multiple stores that all offer food at good prices. prices on campus for food a bit high, so i make it a point to get food elsewhere.
What to do for fun get involved in clubs. i have been involved in the honor society as well as a few clubs and it has made the community college experience that much richer. not only that, but it creates a great chance to add something to your resumé and make a name for yourself while you're at it. mesa community college is a chance to excel. make the best of it.
Bang for the buck like i said, it is what you make of it. if you just want to get a few classes done, you can do it. if you want to go all out, you can most certainly do it. therefore the bang for the buck ratio can be astronomical.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus there are live action role players (larpers) that regularly participate in their favorite activities in the green field at the center of campus. it gives me hope to see people expressing themselves in their own way, regardless of what others may think.
Great for these types of students everyone.
Clubs and Activities there is so much opportunity for new clubs and getting involved at other current clubs. there is an entire student government as well as the honor society. i really hope that future students will consistently make the clubs into something more.
Greek Life a few greek-named clubs, including the honor society, phi theta kappa and the psychology club, psi beta.
Campus Safety i will rate a 5/5 because i have never had a dealing with them, but based on the fact that i see them doing their job frequently and they seem to have a handle on things, it is logical to assume they are working properly.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences i would say mesa community college has a friendly environment. it is a very clean and well organized school. but sports programs are not that efficient.
Tips for prospective students if your an athlete; don't come here. use your library times effectively. use free tutors to your advantage.
Academic Rigor i have no clue what this means. rigor is a word that confuses me. i don't know what to say.
Dorm Life do not have dorms.
Food and Dining good well prepared food. hot and ready when you get to the lunch room. also when you order it comes out fairly fast.
What to do for fun absolutely nothing in mesa, arizona. unless you like water parks, then there's one pretty close. and you can get involved in many activities and clubs at mcc.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot I have only attended one semester here but so far i have learned more then I expected.
Am enjoying being here I love school and I love to learn.
Bang for the buck They have been giving me a hard time with my Finical Aid but it is not that expensive to pay for on my own.
Tips for prospective students Make you that you have your finical aid all figured out and know that there is always an answer. If one person is not helpful go to someone else.
Great for these types of students Great for students who may not be sure what they want to do or for people who do not have the grades to get into an University.

Am enjoying being here There are certain teachers that make their subjects so much more interesting. They make Mesa a school worth going to.
Bang for the buck You get what you pay for. Community college is a lot less expensive, but some classes are pointless.

Categories Rating Comments Tips for prospective students Utilize all the amazing services this school provides. A student 8 years removed from academics, I was able to utilize Math tutoring, English tutoring, and Foreign Language lab, to their full capacities. If you are a dedicated student, MCC will be a perfect stepping stone to get you to the next level.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot I originally started out with a general major, but I quickly found my niche. I'm now an English Lit major, enrolled in MAPP. My teachers love their subjects, so it's easy to enjoy the classes. Some are definitely difficult, but the campus has a ton of tutors! The Writing Center in the library is especially useful. Even the offices, like Admissions and the Honors Office, teach me a lot. They direct me to the classes I need to take, why I need to take them, and how to earn scholarships through the school.
Am enjoying being here I used to attend NAU, but everyone there was too busy to sit down and spend time assisting me. Here at Mesa CC, everyone has time or makes time for me. I absolutely enjoy my time at the Math Club (even though I not great at the subject) and with the other Honors students.
Bang for the buck Mesa CC is one of highest ranking community colleges in the U.S. The tuition is low, and I get a HUGE amount of resources. Since I am a literature student, the biggest resource I enjoy is the library. The library subscribes to over 50 online and in print research journals of every subject imaginable. The librarians are also super helpful. The buildings are nice, and technology is very up to date. (Even the gym is nice!)
Tips for prospective students I guess my biggest tip for prospective students would be--don't make the mistake of not using campus resources. I email, visit, and check almost everything on campus. The offices clearly enjoy helping students. If you don't know anyone, join a club! The clubs on campus are very fun. I'm a member of Math Club, Quidditch Club (yes, quidditch as in the Harry Potter sport), and Art Club. My first semester here was shaky because I only came to class and left afterwards, but the more I explored, the more I loved Mesa Community College!
Great for these types of students All types! Athletes, musicians, dancers, science lovers, artistic people, readers, researchers, everyone! The school is huge, and the class selection is unbelievable. There's also a club for everyone.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot It varies with each teacher. Most teachers are always willing to give a helping hand as long as it works with their schedule.
Am enjoying being here I do like that they offer online and evening classes. I work full time and being able to have class after work is helpful.
Bang for the buck I am getting the education I need and could have gotten at a university level for all my pre requisites.
Tips for prospective students If you are needing to speak to an advisor make sure you have an hour or two to spare. I always have to wait at least an hour when I go.
Great for these types of students Great for those who work full time or need a flexible school schedule.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot The science classes defiently cover alot of information, especially in labs. The teachers are passionate about what they teach.
Am enjoying being here It's hot in AZ, but the campus is spread out so getting from building to building only requires a minute or two outside. Everone's friendly, although there are some weird-do's to watch out for on the weekend classes
Bang for the buck Cheap and worth the money
Tips for prospective students Look at ratemyproffesor.com. Alot of the MCC teachers' reviews are extremly true, and you don't want to be taking chem or trig with a sucky proffesor.
Great for these types of students Science students, people that enjoy the heat, communications majors, vet-tech studies.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot So far, there aren't a ton of new things being introduced that are earth shattering - but for the general classes needed to transfer to a 4-year university, it is hard to beat.
Am enjoying being here As a community college, I don't think it offers the same experience as going to a 4-year university would - but if you know where to look there is a lot to do.
Bang for the buck This is the best part of going to MCC - you get the basic general classes needed at a super cheap price if you are in-state.

Am enjoying being here Everyone is so friendly and it's so easy to make new friends
Bang for the buck It's really affordable that I can still pay for all my other expenses.
Tips for prospective students Check out the campuses and everything that is offered.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot Throughout my college years, I began to take school more serious. The teachers want more out of you than you realise. As a person, you will grow. Because the class sizes are smaller, you won't miss a lot of information on what you're learning.
Am enjoying being here The teachers here are great role models! Most of the professors I've had here have had wonderful personalities and are very personable (and also very humorous). The campuses have something for everyone. If you like the university setting, apply at the main MCC campus. If you like a smaller campus, apply at the Red Mountain Campus.
Bang for the buck I have had many classmates say it's down right dirt cheap to apply and it is super easy to receive grants. MCC is definitely more bang for your buck!
Tips for prospective students MCC is a great way to help transition to the universities. It's cheaper, so you can receive your pre-recs at more than half the cost.
Great for these types of students This school is great for anyone!

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot There are the teachers that you don't like and can't really learn well with, but there will always be those types. There's free math and psychology tutoring if a student needs. The teachers are always willing to help when they can because they genuinely enjoy the job.
Am enjoying being here I've made so many new friends and even have seen some old ones that I haven't seen since my sophomore year of high school and they always greet me. Thee school has so many different clubs to keep you engaged and a variety of classes you can chose from.
Bang for the buck The tuition is relatively cheap especially if you're strapped for money the school even has it's own scholarship to help you get in.
Tips for prospective students You ALWAYS need to do your homework no matter how trivial, insignificant or hard it seems. Those missing assignments add up and at the end of the year you get stressed out and your work becomes trash. Trust me I know.
Great for these types of students If you have no idea what you want to do yet, Mesa Community College is a perfect place to start. When I came here I had no idea what I wanted, but now I have a possible major n psychology because I've had two amazing teachers and next year I'm going to slowly achieve that major.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot I have taken one class here and I felt l like I was back in high school. I mean the teacher was an awesome guy and all but I believe to come here is so you can just fly by and not learn much and I don't enjoy that.
Am enjoying being here I am not enjoying my time here at all, each day I wake up its like a blah feeling to get ready and go to class. The only good thing was that I got to see my one friend those days. Spring is about to start and I'm just ready for it to end. I am going up north with my boyfriend and start college up there.
Bang for the buck I agree that the classes are really cheap, but like in the real world you buy cheap you get cheap. I don't want that to apply to my education!!
Tips for prospective students This is my opinion so don't go off my reviews check it out for yourself
