Tips for prospective students Stick with it! There is no reason you can't achieve your goals!
Academic Rigor I'm fairly intelligent, and only taking generals for now, so needless to say I am not very challenged here.
Dorm Life I live in my own apartment.
Food and Dining There is a cullinary arts program at the school, so they make lunches, and they are affordable.
What to do for fun The Student Life council comes up with montly activities which are done at noon. It is a very fun way to get to know people.

Tips for prospective students Be prepared! Get in contact with MState and find out as much information from the beginning by contacting the Information Desk at 218-736-1533. In addition, all of MState's information is on the web at www.minnesota.edu
Academic Rigor Teachers are drawn to this college to teach. Small class allows teachers to get to know students and their academic track record, which allows teachers to motivate students the way students best adhere to.
Dorm Life MState Fergus Falls in unique as a technical college, it does offer college housing. The housing at this campus is arranged apartment style with three bedrooms- two private and one shared, along with two bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen. All rooms are fully furnished with large furnishings, including kitchen table, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, living room chairs, beds, dressers and a desk.
Food and Dining MState Fergus Falls has the food and dining options that fit you! There are two meal plan options, a six meal and ten meal plan package offered to all students. The food is great and is available to students anytime between 8am-7pm.
What to do for fun Every Thurday night at the Fergus Falls campus there is a College Night. Fun activities are provided for students such as free movie night, Rock 'N' Bowl, Dodge-Ball Tournaments, concerts and much more! If there isn't a Spartan sporting event going on, there probably is a play, musical, art show or concert.
Bang for the buck MState is an affordable option for all! With 2011-2012 tuition rates being $160 per credit and online courses at $199. There are so many opportunities that larger schools cannot offer. A student at MState gets a high quality education for a reasonable price.
Great for these types of students MState is great for all students! With four campuses and eCampus there is something for everyone. MState students who know what they want to do for a carrer can jump into a vocational or technical program. Or for the student who doesn't know quite yet, the AA transfer degree is perfect. With this flexible two year degree students can find the path that is right for them without spending an arm and a leg.

To highlight a couple, MState offers: Student Senate, College Ambassadors, C.A.C.T.U.S., Circle K and many more!
Greek Life Phi Theta Kappa and Mu Alpha Theta are offered at MState!
Campus Safety MState is a secure and safe campus, with security guards throughout mid-day until late at night ensuring the safety of all.
