    Did learn a lot

    NMMI taught me a lot of life skills- independence, self-motivation, self-confidence, etc.

    Note: I was a high school student here my Junior year. (NMMI is both a prep school for high schoolers and a Junior College)
    Did enjoy being here

    I loved being at NMMI.
    NMMI gave you a feeling of family; your troop was who you ate with, lived with, and mostly saw.
    Bang for the buck

    Although NMMI was a great school for me, it is quite expensive. So expensive, in fact, that I could not return for my Senior year of high school.
    However, if you live in New Mexico, you may qualify for the Legislative Scholarship which makes tuition more affordable.

    Tips for prospective students

    Just last through the first RAT week. It gets a whole lot better, I promise.
    Once school starts, those scary old cadets will seem waaaay friendlier.
    Great for these types of students

    Great for high schoolers who need space from home, college students who wish to prep for an Academy, and people in New Mexico who qualify for the Legislative Scholarship.
