    Bang for the buck

    North Greenville is really well priced for a private university. It doesn't have a lot of hidden fees either. The paperwork is straightforward and you will know exactly what you are paying for and how much.

    To get the most out of North Greenville University, get involved immediately. Find clubs, organizations, and intramural sports you enjoy. North Greenville is full of terrific people. Take every chance you have to meet people with common interests.
    Great for these types of students

    North Greenville is fantastic for students who want a small school environment and a chance to develop lots of relationships with both fellow students and professors. Class sizes are small, so there is a lot of professor to student interaction.
    North Greenville has very strong business and education programs, so it is ideal for students pursuing either major. The university has a great success rate in finding internships and jobs for students in both of these majors.

    Aside from educational opportunities, there are many different groups, services, and teams to get involved with. With the whole goal of making a difference for Christ, every group is another chance to have a great support system.

    Any type of student would be great to be at North Greenville. As a small university student, professors and advisers are more able to give out more help and assistance.

    When you find out that the class that you are taking requires you to write a lot of papers, do them early on and take them to the Writing Center to be proofread by professors and other students. Do not wait until the last minute to do these papers and projects.

    North Greenville University is a great school for students wanting to go to a Christian University to grow closer to God. It is a great school for students that don't want to go to a huge school because the professors have smaller classes and can take more time with the students.

    Am learning a lot

    The class sizes are small and manageable. Teachers, for the most part, genuinely care about their students. Most of the professors know students by name, and that makes them feel like more than just a number or a grade. The classes are challenging, but not overly difficult. With time-management and good study habits, NGU is a great place to attain your desired degree.

    Almost everyone is really friendly! Students are polite and have no problem helping you find anything you need. The smaller size of the campus promotes unity among the student body. When you recognize people, it helps in feeling comfortable. The dorms are nice, and the rules are not overly strict. Christianity is emphasized at NGU, which creates a pleasant atmosphere.

    Though there are many generous scholarships for residents of South Carolina, the tuition at NGU is not unreasonable for a private, Christian university. The dorm rooms are nice, and many are new. The education is good, and the cafeteria holds a variety of tasteful food for every meal. NGU students receive free access to every home athletic event.

    Do not come to NGU if you are not willing to follow the rules listed in the handbook. You will not enjoy yourself, and you will probably get kicked out.

    Christ-serving, easy-going, students who do not like big schools. NGU is a lot like high school, without the dramatics and with much more freedom.

    I love being here. This school has the most gorgeous location, although it may be in the middle of nowhere. The sun rises from the mountains in the morning and falls behind the mountains at night. I love the people here. Everyone is willing to help you out at any moment and everyone is very friendly. The professors are great as well.

    The college is a great school. It has a lot of opportunity for you. Talk with the professors, they are willing to help if you put the effort into it.

    North Greenville University is such an amazing school. The academics here are top-notch, and the spiritual side to the school is just as good. All of the professors care about each of their students and care about the well-being of their students and want their students to be successful. Professors try to form relationships with all of their students so they can help them in anyway they can.

    I absolutely love being a student here at North Greenville. I'm currently a freshman and will be sophomore in the fall 2011. I have made some of the best friends while being here and everyone here, whether it's faculty or students, is so friendly and welcoming. I've felt right at home since the day I moved into my dorm. Everyone here wants the students to feel like they're at home and wants them to be comfortable.

    North Greenville is worth every dollar and penny. The education you get while here is amazing, and you couldn't get an education like this at any other university or college.

While North Greenville University is a Christian university, North Greenville University offers many broad careers applicable to diverse fields of study. Overall, North Greenville University focuses on making a difference in the lives of attending students and ensuring a passion for their career.

    Prospective students should learn how to study adequately and read the material they are studying. If students can learn how to study effectively, then they will be more able and knowlegeable to exceed in their academics at this university. Reading the given material will teach prospective students the importance of understanding and applying the material which they learn.
    Academic Rigor

    North Greenville University believes that each individual should be a difference maker in their lives and in the lives of others around them. This university and its students come together to support one another through activities from Baptist Student Union to forming study groups. Athletic teams, campus ministries, student volunteerism, and academic clubs are few of the opportunities to become involved as a student.
    Dorm Life

    North Greenville Univeristy offers regular and premium housing. While the premium housing includes newer buildings and bigger bathrooms, the regular housing includes larger rooms. Many dorm halls get together to play games, go out to eat, go to the cafeteria together, and to attend academic activities.
    Food and Dining

    The food and dining is diverse and ranges to meet food allergies and different tastes. Pizza, sandwiches, hamburgers, and chicken sandwiches are given every day along with a special, soup, salad, an American supper, and a dessert bar. Dining services also offer meal replacements under the dining hall for more choices and gives each resident student $65 dollars to Einstein's, a coffee and sandwich shop nearing the campus.
    What to do for fun

    Downtown Greenville, Caesar's Head trails, and Reedy River are less than thirty minutes from the school for outside activities. Students can get involved with clubs on campus such as the Psychology or Biology Club. There are always activities going on around campus and many activities to do in neighboring areas.

    North Greenville University provides more than a formal education. This university allows students to build strong friendships with students, academic professors, the president of the university, and provides a strong, applicable education.

    The campus house a prayer chapel for students to meet to pray along with an old fashioned bell that chimes every hour during the day. There are swings throughout the campus and it is believed that different swings represent engagement, talking to someone, and just friends. Also, when the president walks throughout the campus, he is known to give hugs and smile to everyone he passes.

    North Greenville University offers strong academic careers in psychology, biology, education, business, Christian ministries, and mathematics. This school will meet the expectations of students wanting to engage in and learn how to critically think in a specific field of study.

    Study hard, this college may be a lot of fun, but the instructors are challenging, but in a good way. Try to live on campus, the friends and fellowship is worth it.

    This university has pride in it's Christian roots and this carries over into all of the program/classes. It is a wonderful place to enhance your Christian knowledge.
    Dorm Life

    I recommend that you live on campus if you possibly can. It is the best way to experience college life and continue the Christian fellowship.

    I give the dining three stars, because the breakfast is excellent! However, the lunch and dinner could use some improvments. There are always a variety to choose from.
    What to do for fun

    There are pool tables in the student center. The campus also has its on radio station!

    north greenville is a beautiful college and it has a very close feel to it. it's not the biggest university and it doesn't have the biggest and most luxurious classrooms but it does have very good teachers in every department and all of them will help any student that goes to them and wishes for some kind of extra help and will even give you a tutor to help you with problems you have when they aren't available. all in all ngu is a very good school with a lot of good professors.

    the most important thing to remember is to study hard and be willing to work when your professor tells you to do something to get it done as soon as possible because it is very easy to get behind on assignments and end up with ten different things to get done on the same day, depending on the work load of course.

    the professors here are all really good and will be happy to work with you if you are willing to work with them and show some kind of work ethic in their class.

    the dorms aren't the most impressive things and sometimes it's hard to get things fixed in them but all in all the dorms are pretty nice and they do serve the function that they are designed for.

    not really spectacular and most of the time you end up eating the same thing over and over again but this is really the only short-coming of this university and can be overlooked when they do have their good days.

    there are several options for fun such as intramural sports, hanging out in the stud, tennis, volleyball, and basketball. several field for frisby are always open. there is also bowling close by!

    the university is fantastically christian, striving to draw students into a deeper relationship with god and well as providing a well-rounded education. all of its courses attempt to show how god intended each subject and how students can use the lessons in everyday life to glorify him.

    students who come ought to expect an environment in which everyone can utilize their freedom of speech and religion to discuss matters of all religions openly, even with the professors. while there are rules that could be considered strict, if a student attends north greenville university that person is agreeing to obey all rules and will face the consequences if those rules are flouted.

    n.g.u. is very considerate about student's workloads. in general, the workload is fairly manageable for students who are dedicated to learning. the more work achieved early in the semester, the less stress that accumulates during exams.
    Dorm Life

    n.g.u. has provided wonderfully secure and homey living arrangements. the dorms are segregated and no one, save maintenance, is allowed to visit the dorms of the opposite gender unless otherwise informed. this arrangement encourages fellowship and aids in ensuring morality on campus.

    the todd dining hall provides an amazing buffet for every meal. the cafeteria staff do a fabulous job of caring for all the students in all capacities. with a variety of foods accompanied by the friendship of fellow students and the cafeteria staff, the cafe is always a relaxing environment.

    there are a variety of activities throughout the week. everything from pool and card games to sports events and even movie nights to bible studies and volunteer groups are available here at n.g. u.

    the campus has recently added a 24/7 prayer chapel that is absolutely gorgeous. a famous saying around the campus is ring by spring or your money back! while the saying is all fun and games betwixt studies, that chapel will certainly be put to multiple uses.

    if students want to learn how christ can make difference in the most ordinary life, then this school is for them. if students desire to earn an education that will astonish others as well as glorifying god, this university is for them. if students want to see a little bit of secure heaven on earth, this home is for them.

    Being nestled at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains near Asheville, NC affords a lot of opportunities to be outside. The campus offers many different activities and going into the nearest city is only 30 minutes away!

    To receive a private education is never cheap, but for those who take the leap of faith and work hard and apply for scholarships, NGU has very reasonable tuition rates and will also work with families as they apply for student loans.

For those desiring a smaller campus feel (with smaller classrooms) and a true connection with their professors, NGU is a wonderful environment in which to learn.
