Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot I learned so much my first year! There are free student labs for every subject from Quilting to Math to Biology to Writing! Students who have already taken the classes are there to tutor, so the atmosphere is more relaxed than it would be if a teacher was tutoring. The tutors are very well trained and have helped me out with many assignments. The teachers, too, are always willing to explain confusing concepts and will even schedule times to work with you. The class sizes are very small compared to many schools; this creates a better learning environment for the student.
Am enjoying being here Almost everyday there is something happening on campus that you get involved in! The atmosphere at Snow is very friendly and relaxed, yet very academic. It is very easy to make friends, and get involved! The many activities and clubs provides enough opportunities for all of the student body to be involved in many things. The Snow campus is not huge, and very easy to get around.
Tips for prospective students Make sure to get involved! It makes the college experience so much more enjoyable and helps relieve the stresses of homework. But don't get lax on your homework--the professors expect you to complete your assignments on time.
Great for these types of students If you're unsure of what school you want to attend, or are unsure of what you want for a major, this college is a GREAT start! It has a great variety of classes and has contact with many other great schools that you can transfer to.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot Snow College offers a great education. I have learned so much while attending. Classes are challenging but there is so much help that you never feel overwhelmed or that you can't do it. Almost every department has free tutors and labs you can attend to get extra help and I have never had a teacher that wasn't willing to stay after class and help me or set up a meeting later. The teachers at Snow are very helpful and they want their students to succeed.
Am enjoying being here I am definitely enjoying attending Snow College. It is located in a small town in Central Utah. There are so much activities that happen at Snow and most of them I will remember for years to come. Snow is a small college and; therefore, very easy to make friends and meet new people which is very important part of the college experience.
Bang for the buck Snow College is a great place to begin furthering your education. It is very affordable and has many scholarships and financial aid opportunities.
Tips for prospective students Some tips I would like to offer to any student interested in attending Snow College would be to make sure to apply for scholarships early. Snow College offers lots of financial assistance but there are important deadlines to pay attention to. I would also like students to know that they should apply for classes as soon as they can. Classes fill up quickly and you want to be able to take the classes that will help with your major or help you choose a major. Lastly, I would tell students to get involved. Snow has many activities, clubs, and organizations. I'm sure there is something for everyone to enjoy if you put the effort into finding it.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot While at Snow College I learned so much! All the professors were willing to help me outside of class and had an environment inside of class set up in a way where students weren't afraid to speak up. Not only did I learn a lot about math, English, film, education, and other such subjects, I also learned a lot about myself. Snow has activities going on almost every weekend and interacting with other students was a great way to learn.
Am enjoying being here The best part about Snow college is the location. Sure, there isn't a lot out there, but don't let that discourage you. I grew up in a small town and love the atmosphere of Snow. Because there isn't a lot we found inexpensive ways to have fun. From night games to all night card game tournaments to dance parties, there was always something to do. Plus, the long car rides for Denny's runs, late movies, or a spontaneous shopping trip can turn into great memories. The people are all very nice and accepting. It's almost impossible to walk on campus and not have someone say hello.
Bang for the buck Tuition at Snow is very low. I actually spent the most of my money on housing. Depending on where you live, though, that can be avoided. I learned and enjoyed way more than enough for the money that I spent. There are free labs for every subject, free activities, and free friends.
Tips for prospective students My advice to those thinking about Snow College - APPLY! I never thought I'd go to Snow until a friend convinced me to apply. After applying, visit the campus. Find out if it's something you really want. Finding a college for you is a hard process, but worth it. Talk to those who have attended Snow and get more opinions about it. But most of all find out for your self and have fun! GO BADGERS!!!
Great for these types of students Snow is great for anyone. While there I met farmers, city people trying to get away, and people from all over the world. There weren't cliques at Snow like there were in high school. I got along with everyone. Anyone looking for a fun, inexpensive way to start college should check out Snow.

Categories Rating Comments Did learn a lot Snow helped me accomplish so much during the year I was there. I was able to get my associates degree in a year because of how much they allowed me to do! Classes are difficult, it being college, but they are very do-able. You learn so much and not only about the subjects of the classroom, but about life. Every teacher has a desire to see you progress and succeed.
Did enjoy being here Although Ephraim, UT is in the middle of no where, there is always so much going on at the school. The student government and all the clubs are amazing at always having something to do on the weekends and during many days of the week. Don't be afraid to put yourself out there and find your niche. Everyone is so kind and many are in the same level as you. It being a two year school, people always come and go so there isn't really the upperclassmen, everyone is on the same level. I loved the people and had so much fun.
Bang for the buck Snow has so many scholarships that I was able to get a full tuition scholarship for academics along with more money for a music scholarship. In the end I had to pay for housing and that is all. It is definitely worth the money even if you are not able to receive a scholarship.
Tips for prospective students Have fun and get known. The teachers will help you if you need it so go talk to them. If you are wondering about going to Snow or a four year, go to SNOW! Get your General ED finished then go to a four year institution.
Great for these types of students Snow is a place where everyone can fit in. Just don't be shy. I am naturally shy but I let myself be known and had so much fun!

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot The professors here are great! They know what they are talking about and do the best they can to teach you. They teach you the right material to help you for your future! They are really nice and really do want you to suceed, so they are willing to stay after or meet with you when problems come up!
Am enjoying being here I have made a lot of friends because of the friendly campus! You always see people smiling at you as you pass from class to class. You can meet so many different people, and meet new people everyday.
Bang for the buck This school is affordable and so is the housing on and off campus.
Tips for prospective students Make sure you stay on top of your homework and attend your classes. One of the biggest ways to get behind in your classes is if your don't attend. Also it is good to get a planner and write what you need to do for the day!
Great for these types of students Find a schedule that works with you! Don't worry about friends being in your class because you can always make more! That's the great thing about this school!

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot Well I am learning a lot every time I go to class. There is so much that I need to still learn. But one thing that will help me is my Communications 2110 class that will help me to better communicate with family, friends, co-workers, and other acquaintances.
Am enjoying being here My classes are very small. And there is a lot of interaction between me with the other students and the teacher.
Bang for the buck I think that it is a great way to get any general education credits and a great start in your major. And the prices are not that much.
Tips for prospective students Get all your generals done at Snow College while still attending all your classes needed for your major.
Great for these types of students Needing to get a head-start with your college credits and classes, Snow College is a good place to go for a start before a 4-year college/university.

Categories Rating Comments Did learn a lot I actually didn't go to the Snow College of Ephraim. I went to Snow College Richfield. My field of study was drafting and the Ephraim campus didn't have it, but the Richfield campus did. I did learn a lot, our professors were very professional and hands on.
Did enjoy being here I enjoyed it very much, the campus was smaller than Ephraim, which made it easier to get around and navigate. The classes were smaller too, so the professor could give you more attention if needed.
Bang for the buck Since it is technically part of Snow College, the prices were some of the cheapest in the state. I compared them to quite a few different colleges and universities.
Tips for prospective students This is not high school, you're playing with the big kids now. You don't have your mother to help clean-up after you anymore and the dorm rooms have surprise cleaning inspections at least once a month.
Great for these types of students Snow College Richfield is more of a technical kind of college. They have other majors like business, nursing, and cosmetology and those majors do great, but they also have majors for drafting, mechanical engineering, car restoration, diesel mechanics, machining technology, and artistic endeavors.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot The professors here are fantastic teachers who care about what they're doing. They honestly love teaching and want to see their students succeed. The small class sizes really help with your education; you get a lot more attention.
Am enjoying being here You may not think that Ephraim UT has much to offer, but if you have good friends you don't even notice the boredom that may come. It's a great small town and there's plenty to do if you know where to look for it.
Bang for the buck Absolutely. Great education for how cheap it is. Snow's an awesome place.
Tips for prospective students Enroll in Start Smart and come to a Snow Blast. That's where I decided to attend Snow
Great for these types of students People who may not be able to afford or gain acceptance to a university. It's a great place to get your GE or to start on pre stuff.

Categories Rating Comments Did learn a lot I learned so much at Snow College. The class sizes are small, which is nice, for more student to teacher interaction. The teachers care about your education, and will work with you, to make you the best student possible.
Did enjoy being here Ephraim, UT is so beautiful, and the campus is a very pretty campus. Ephraim is just at the base of the mountain, it makes it fun to be able to drive up the canyon, and see the beauty of the earth.
Bang for the buck Snow College has a very reasonable tuition. It is one of the cheaper schools in Utah, but still gives you a very good education!
Tips for prospective students Make lots of friends, and become involved with school activities. There is always something going on, so really take advantage of the fun that Snow College provides!

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot Every class is just absolutely filled with new information. I'm reviewing a little, but only to help me. In high school I was stuck reviewing, reviewing, reviewing thinking why am I in this class anyways? and now I'm actually interested in learning!
Am enjoying being here My only vice is that it's in a small town and I'm a city girl used to public transportation. Otherwise, I LOVE it and I never thought I would! The people here are so generous and so kind that I'm still surprised every day to have strangers come and say hello to me and actually compliment me! All the buildings on campus are close and I LOVE the activities that are going on! People here volunteer to go with you and actually have a really good time! I love the small town hospitality and everyone is in the same boat as you, so you can relate to each other!
Bang for the buck Everything is so cheap that I've literally been waiting for something saying I owe this amount of money to the college. I cannot believe I'm getting this education for the small amount. Best money I ever spent!
Tips for prospective students Know that if you don't have transportation you'll be walking around a lot, but it's not too bad. If you're on-campus housing like me, you'll actually want to stay in your dorm because of how fun it is, so plan some time to spend there! If you want a good place to study, the library is a really awesome place! Also, if you plan on getting a job, apply early because there aren't many there due to so many students and so little things to do.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences It is a small campus with small classes. It has plenty of housing opportunities and is cheaper than other places in Utah. Small town, where there is plenty of friendly people.
Tips for prospective students It is actually cheaper to stay off campus than on campus.
Find your books online, not through the bookstore, they are cheaper online. Still a great college. Almost a scholarship for everyone who applies.Academic Rigor Most professors give you their cell phone number and allow you to call them when you need help. The class sizes are small and everyone is great to work with. You can even get free tutoring.
Dorm Life My apartment is great. It has pretty cheap rent and is well furnished. All housing places are right near campus. The people are great to work with, and is reasonably priced.
Food and Dining The food is reasonably priced, but there isn't a lot of variety. You can go a few blocks off campus and get some great food though.
What to do for fun A recreation facility for students and plenty of clubs and organizations.

Campus Safety Campus police are great to work with and are very friendly. The local police is also great to work with.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences Snow College has helped me to become a well-rounded young adult. This institution has aided me in the process of becoming an excellent student and a contributing member of the community. I have loved every second of my experience at Snow College.
Tips for prospective students Always use the resources available to you. There are many opportunities and many people willing to help you do your best. Do not be afraid to use resources available to help you succeed.
Academic Rigor Of course some classes are harder than others, but if you study and push yourself to learn the information being taught, you will have a very satisfying learning experience.
Dorm Life Everyone is friendly and willing to make new friends. No matter what, there is always someone around who is willing to help you out if you need it.
Food and Dining Since it is a small town dining options are limited, but that doesn't mean what Snow College has isn't great.
What to do for fun There is a million things to do for fun at Snow College. You can go hiking, four-wheeling, intramural sports, swimming, and tons more!
Bang for the buck Tuition is low, many different housing opportunities, and many scholarships make this school have a big bang for your buck.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Becoming a true badger has to be one of the most fun traditions of Snow College.
Great for these types of students Students looking for a great education without having to pay big bucks. Also a great option for students who want more of a one on one education experience with professors.
Clubs and Activities Snow College has various clubs, both educational and recreational. There's a club for almost everything.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences Snow College provides an excellent atmosphere for productive learning. The prices are very reasonable, the faculty and staff are excellent, and the location is beautiful. I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience here.
Tips for prospective students As Snow College is a small school, be sure to check beforehand to be sure your desired programs are offered. I would also advise against staying in the dormitories. I have experienced both on- and off-campus housing, and greatly prefer the latter.
Academic Rigor I have been very impressed by the qualifications and capability of Snow College's faculty. Virtually ever professor that I have had has kept me engaged and learning throughout the duration of their course. The work is hard, but it is very worthwhile.
Dorm Life As mentioned earlier, I was not particularly impressed with the dormitories at Snow College. There are many options for off-campus housing.
Food and Dining The culinary selection in Ephraim, UT is very limited. However, as it is essentially a farming community, there is lots of fresh produce available in season.
What to do for fun If you're an outdoors person, the mountains are literally just off campus. Student activities occur regularly, but I must admit I have attended very few of them.
Bang for the buck The facilities and faculty at Snow College are outstanding. When compared to the low cost of tuition and housing, I sometimes wonder how such excellent resources are maintained.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus I am not aware of any.
Great for these types of students If you are planning on majoring in anything to do with music, Snow is a great choice. Not only are the facilities great, but Snow College has a partnership with Julliard, providing very unique learning opportunities.
Clubs and Activities I haven't had much experience in this field.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences Snow College has a small town feel, but has big dreams. Students there are passionate about their future career. There is an environment of growth and productivity, that will take you from where you are to where you need to be!
Tips for prospective students If possible, go down and visit the campus. That's what really sold it for me. I felt like the teachers and councilors wanted me to succeed. I didn't think I would like the small campus feel, but it really grew on me; so go down and visit the campus.
Academic Rigor I was really challenged by my math class. The teacher was willing to help anybody to succeed however. The rest of my classes where fairly easy, the teachers put the time in to help you learn, and enjoy the subject.
Dorm Life I lived in Castilleja Hall, and I plan on going back in the Fall, because I enjoyed it so much. There were quite a few clams in the hall that didn't want to get to know new people, but I definitely made some life long friendships while in Castilleja.
Food and Dining I had a Munch Card meal plan because I had a cooking apartment so I didn't spend a lot of time at the Student Center. I would get a sandwich for lunch once a week there with my Munch Card. It was always pretty good.
What to do for fun Honestly you have to find your own fun in Ephraim. If you get to know new people, somebody always has an idea, so my advice would be to make new friends. There is a movie theater, and a bowling alley, and the Recreation Center is pretty decent. You can also play ping pong and pool at the institute. We went up the canyon a few times to have a campfire.
Bang for the buck Snow College was the cheapest place I found that I could live away from home. Overall I am pretty satisfied with what I paid for.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus You can become a true badger by kissing someone for 60 seconds while the bell tower goes off at midnight. Pretty fun.
Great for these types of students There are lots of creative people at Snow College. Lots of music and art majors. These type of people seem to thrive at Snow.
Clubs and Activities Intramural sports are awesome. There really is a wide selection of sports to participate in.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences snow college is a fun, affordable, and inspiring school. it's a great place to get a student-to-teacher relationship. it's filled with an uplifting atmosphere that motivates you every day to strive to achieve your academic goals and dreams.
Tips for prospective students apply for scholarships as early as possible. snow college offers many scholarships and financial aid but deadlines are important!! also register for classes as early as possible because they fill up fast and the choices left most likely won't help toward your major. and one last thing: get involved!! college will be so much better and less stressful if you go to activities and make new friends.
What to do for fun there are so many activities going on at snow college. you have dances, games, concerts, plays, bowling and pretty much anything you can think of.
Bang for the buck snow college is really affordable. if you apply for fafsa that can pretty much cover your tuition. they also offer a variety of scholarships that can pay for your tuition as well. there is no way that you can't afford an education from snow college.
Clubs and Activities there are so many clubs and activities offered here at the school. some of them even come with their own scholarships, like the diversity club with their diversity scholarship. you have western swing to zumba, badminton to soccer, business to engineering, french to spanish, finger painting to forensics, and so on. it's so much fun.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences fun, great professors, small classes, as well as a brand new library and performing arts buildings make this small college a fantastic choice for new students as well as returning non-traditional students. i came to refresh some classes before applying to pharmacy school and i learned more than i did the first time around at my private 4 year university! the pharmacy schools had huge respect for snow because of the quality of students they've seen from there.
Tips for prospective students sanpete county is pretty small and isolated from the bigger cities in ut. get ready to live in an area with limited services and opportunities for work. be active and friendly and you'll get a job if you need one... but you must be patient and persistent. most jobs here are minimum wage.
Academic Rigor the science courses here are top notch. their pre-pharmacy advisors are very helpful. classes are small but not easy.
Dorm Life looked like a whole lot of fun to me! lots of international students from china.
Food and Dining cafeteria has limited hours and is closed pretty much all summer long. lots of choices within walking distance though.
What to do for fun this is the problem area for ephraim. if you're not a cowboy or an outdoor enthusiast, you probably won't like sanpete county.
Bang for the buck great classes for low prices!
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus true badgers. great institute (lds religion class/club) and great social opportunities on a small town campus.

Tips for prospective students if i were a new student i would ask around on which professors are the best. some truly are better at teaching than others! i would also look at the cheap apartments to live in, because the cheap ones will save you money, but they are just as good as the expensive ones!
Academic Rigor the classes are all great! each one has something different to offer!
Dorm Life i have not lived in the dorms, but even though they are small, they are cheap and close to classes!
Food and Dining the food on campus has different options, and while satisfy every need.
What to do for fun ephraim is a small place to live, but i truly think there are tons of things to do! you always have to come up wih things, but you are much less likely to spend a lot of money on extras. hiking the s, checking out the cemeteries, and school dances are the best ways to have fun!
Bang for the buck i love the people in ephraim, and at snow collee! they are all very sincere, and even the employees at wal mart wish you luck in your classes! it is just a fun, relaxed place to live!

Great for these types of students students who want to be very involved and and study in a quiet area, can go to the library and keep up with the life of snow college.
Clubs and Activities there are plenty of activities and clubs for every kind of student at snow college! everything from western swing to the international club, you can find what you are looking for!

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences a wonderful school where the faculty puts their students first, and themselves second. the small class sizes make it so anyone can succeed if they will just give themselves a chance. would recommend it to anyone who wants to get a head start on their college education.
Tips for prospective students get to know your professors personally. take the time to visit their offices and let them know that you want to succeed in their class.
Academic Rigor the classes aren't easy, but everyone of your teachers will give you extra help if you only go into their office.
Dorm Life the dorms are okay, but most of the fun happens outside of them.
Food and Dining mcdonalds, subway and little caesers are your only options for fast food, but the chinese restaurant is amazing!
What to do for fun go to games, hike the mountains, have bon-fires, go swing dancing are just some of the things to keep you busy in this small town.
Bang for the buck super affordable for tuition and housing!
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus true badger night! every full moon, you go to the clocktower at midnight and kiss while the clock strikes twelve!

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences Snow College is a wonderful school to get started. It is excellent with its small class sizes to give students the individual attention they need. It is in a remote location to I hope you like small towns!
Tips for prospective students Try and be creative in the activities you choose to do. There is a lot of fun to be had, you just have to be the one to think of it.
Academic Rigor The classes are excellent and so are the professors, but it is a two-year college with only the introductory courses.
Dorm Life The dorms, while one of the cheapest options, have stricter rules than most, many of them not making sense. It is a good way to learn to live in a community, but at times can be unpleasant.
Food and Dining The food in both the bistro and the badger den is good, but almost never healthy. There is a salad bar option but that is really the only big thing they have that is health conscious.
What to do for fun You definitely have to be creative with what you do for fun in Ephraim. School dances and parties are always fun, but friends will usually get together for bonfires and big movie nights. The more creative you get with your activities the better.
Bang for the buck The classes are excellent and it is definitely one of the most affordable schools in the state. However, it usually doesn't feel like a cheap school.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot I love Snow college! The teachers are great! they are always there for you if you need help or just want to talk!
Am enjoying being here There are so many fun activities and class, I have been enjoying every second of it.
Bang for the buck Its a great school if you don't want to spend tons of money, its fair priced and all together a great school.
Tips for prospective students I would suggest looking up what you want to do first, then looking at there programs and seeing how the students rate the Professors in it.
Great for these types of students Snow has an amazing arts program. That's what I am in and I'm loving it! The Professors are great and the fellow students are to. They have a great variety of classes that help you decide what you are good at.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot Snow gives ample opportunities to learn. The class sizes are small and therefore students learn a lot more. The teachers tailor the classes to their students instead of making them so general. At Snow it feels as if the employees are teachers, not just professors. Teachers care about their students. I love that each teacher I have takes time for me. They learn my name and want to see me succeed. They are very willing to help students outside of class and each class I don't only learn about the subject but I also learn about life. Snow is a great place to learn about yourself as well as other things pertaining to school.
Am enjoying being here I absolutely love Snow College. The atmosphere is great and everything is close to campus. The people are fun and nice. Even though Ephraim is a small town, there are many ways that students face the boredom. The school puts on a lot of activities for the students and there are a lot of great hiking spots here. There are also many ways to get involved otherwise with the school. There is an endless amount of clubs that a student can join, and the LDS institute near campus puts on activities for the students to do as well. If Snow was a four-year college, I would definitely stay here. Yet being a two year college is what makes Snow, Snow.
Bang for the buck This is probably the cheapest school you can find for the quality that you get. It's only about $1200 for instate tuition a semester. The classes are great and like I said before, the campus has such a great atmosphere. The people here are so friendly and you really make great friends while you are here. The teachers care about you and there is a lot that you can do down here on campus that don't cost much. There is also Western Swing every Wednesday night for 2 or 3 $. This is part of the culture down here and it's wonderful!
Tips for prospective students Apply for scholarships, you will most likely get one. There are a few classes that are most everyone likes and recommends. Courtship and Marriage with Lynn Poulson, Bowling with Bob Trythall, Western Swing with Bob Trythall, Human Development with Kim Cragun, Intro to PE with Bob Trythall, and more. All the teachers I have had I have loved. Snow has wonderful teachers, just ask around and you'll find one that fits what you like. If not, you'll probably get a teacher that's great anyway.
Great for these types of students Most students will absolutely love Snow, but if you don't like small towns and want easy ways to entertain yourself (for example, walk down the street and go to FatCats or a water park), this just may not be for you. Many of the students here are from other small towns in central Utah. If you are a person who likes to feel like you are not just another body in a classroom, this place is for you. You will feel included and build great friendships.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot Snow is an awesome place. The teachers here are dedicated to the students and focused on providing an excellent education. I have learned so much in the year I have been there and I look forward to going back next year.
Am enjoying being here It is a wonderful environment, fabulous people and small class sizes. The dorms are fun to live in and there are plenty of activities on campus to keep you entertained and to stop your brain from frying.
Bang for the buck There are dozens of scholarships available for every kind of student, both from benefactor sources and academic sources. You just have to look and ask.
Tips for prospective students Stay focused, make friends and be self motivated.
Great for these types of students Those who want to go away from home for college but not too far away. Those who cannot afford an expensive university right out of high school.
