Categories Rating Comments In three sentences South Plains College provides a unique opportunity to learn in a small community setting. Because it is not a research university, the teachers are focused on students and classes are much harder. The largest classes are around thirty people so there is abundant time for one on one time with the instructor.
Tips for prospective students Because it is not a research university the instructors are focused on teaching. Because of this classes are much harder and it is impossible to win just by showing up. Instead hard work and study are what it takes to pass classes.
Academic Rigor More work at more rigorous standards are dolled out in most classes. A passing grade is truly earned in classes at South Plains College
