For those interested in studying and pursuing a career in religion, there’s Eugene Bible College in Eugene, Oregon. Housing only 129 students, this small campus is situated in the mid-sized city of Eugene and offers a monetary honors award for incoming freshmen.
Also located in Eugene is the University of Oregon. This Oregon University houses approximately 19100 full-time students. Many undergraduate students pursue degrees in Business and Social Sciences. The film, National Lampoon’s Animal House was filmed on Oregon University’s campus, and notable alumni include Baseball Hall of Famer Joe Gordon of the New York Yankees.
Southern Oregon University, located in Ashland, OR is a medium sized Oregon university, housing about 5000 students. If you’re a fan of Shakespeare, Ashland is the place to be, as it plays host to the annual Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Notable alumni include actor Ty Burrell, of Modern Family, who graduated from SOU in 1993.
