I rated this an amazing 5 stars out of 5 because I am learning a lot in my prerequisite classes. Interesting things I would have never known about if I wasn't required to take those classes. These prerequisite classes make students very well-rounded and informative on a lot of different topics. I took a Geology class which isn't related to my Business major, yet I learned about how the earth was formed and how it keeps changing. I also heard a few of the terms I learned in that class when I went whitewater river rafting this summer and knew exactly what our guide was talking about! So you may think: When will I ever use this in real life? and guess what you actually do! read full review

Coming from out of state, I was very unsure about my college choice. I was leaving a very close group of friends and I was expecting to be very homesick. However, I was surprised when the opposite happened. Everyone at Colorado State University is very welcoming and friendly. A countless number of people opened up to me and approached me. This helped me make friends very easily. The environment is very open and excepting. However, the students are not the only ones that are making my experience a great one. The staff is also helping with this. All professors always have their door open and allow you to come talk to them whenever you would like. This helps a lot when your struggling or just need a few words of advice. Dorm life has also been a great experience. All dorms make sure that they give you opportunities to meet people. They have events in every dorm once a week that every student is allowed to attend. These events take place in the various dorms and it is a great opportunity to meet people. Overall, I have enjoyed being a Colorado State. read full review
