Though TAMUK is primarily an engineering school (one of the top in South Texas,) its other programs are outstanding as well. Many of the professors have written books, studied abroad, or have been teaching their subjects for many years. I've yet to find a teacher who was not absolutely passionate about what they were teaching. Because the classes are usually smaller, you get the one-on-one attention you need to learn. There are also many tutoring sessions, many of the free, for extra help. read full review
