Chancellor's Merit Opportunity Scholarship

Scholarship Description
Briarcliffe College will provide the Chancellor's Merit Opportunity Scholarship to deserving students who have exhausted all federal, state, and private funding sources and have an outstanding balance. Applicants must: 1. be enrolled as a Briarcliffe College Student and have completed the financial aid process 2. submit a typewritten one page essay on “How I will benefit from a Briarcliffe College education.” (i.e., what is your motivation for attending, completing and excelling in your program of choice?) 3. must be continuously enrolled as a full-time student 4. maintain a 3.0 or higher CGPA. Recipients are selected on the basis of motivation, merit, need, and potential. The maximum award amount per semester is up to $1000 depending on student need, the number of applicants, and the availability of funds.
