Alabama Student Incentive Grants

Scholarship Description
Award: Twenty-Five (25) awards of $1000 each ($500 per semester) Must enroll full time (minimum of 12 hours for undergraduates, 9 hours for graduate students). Exceptions: 1.) Students who are in their final semester before graduation and do not need 12 hours to complete degree and 2.) Students who are enrolled in student teaching Must be enrolled in one of the technology-oriented majors approved by AFCEA (See list) Undergraduate applicants must have completed at least 30 credit hours by the beginning of the Fall 2008 semester Preference will be given to applicants enrolled in ROTC, active duty members of the armed services and their immediate families (military dependents), and veterans of the armed services Application requirement: General Scholarship Application ; applicants applying for preference as ROTC members or active duty military and members of their immediate families (military dependents) must submit a copy of a current military photo ID. Veterans no longer on active duty must provide a copy of their DD Form 214.
