The American Indians Committee of the National Society DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), awards scholarships to Native Americans. This award is intended to help Native American college students of any age, any tribe, in any state striving to get an education. Amount: $500 Scholarship Eligibility Criteria Minimum GPA: 2.8 Minimum Enrollment Status: Not Applicable Residency: Not Applicable Need-based: Yes Grade Level(s): HS Senior Enrolling for Fall, Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Graduate, Post Bacc., Transfer Students, Law, MBA Campus(es): Downtown, Polytechnic, Tempe, West College/School: Donor Preferences: Ethnicity Additional Eligibility Criteria: This scholarship requires the following additional eligibility criteria/information: Students must include the following with the application in one packet (NO EXCEPTIONS): letter giving family history, financial status, and educational objectives official transcripts three letters of recommendation from persons such as teachers, clergy, or others who have personally known the applicant for a minimum of two years proof of American Indian blood as indicated in letters or proof papers.
