- Eligibility SAU sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have maintained at least a 3.00 cumulative grade point average and completed at least 12 semester hours each semester at SAU may apply. Award Amount In-state tuition for one year, up to 16 hours. Apply by Contact the academic department of your major by April 15. To renew Scholarships are renewed for spring provided that recipients complete a minimum of 12 hours in the fall, with a cumulative 3.0 GPA at the end of fall.
