Scholarship Description
Alumni Association Scholarship for Communications Majors Amount: $500 Established by: This scholarship was established to encourage cocurricular involvement and to promote service, academic achievement, and leadership in the college. Funding is provided by the College of Communications in partnership with the Cal State Fullerton Alumni Association. Two scholarship recipients will be selected and must serve in two or more leadership areas during the next academic year: 1) hold a top-level position in a major campus activity, 2) serve on the SOAR-Interclub Council, 3) serve as an officer in a student club, or 4) serve as an ambassador for department/college events. Open to: This scholarship is open to new and continuing full-time students in Communication, Radio-TV-Film, or Human Communication who are pursuing an undergraduate or a graduate degree. Criteria: Full-time ? Academic achievement ? Good academic standing ? Leadership ? Extracurricular activities Application Procedure: 1) Complete the SA application, answering all seven questions, and sign the certification; 2) Submit an unofficial transcript and a Titan Degree Audit, available from TITAN Online; 3) Prepare a statement indicating pertinent school and community activities that illustrate your leadership potential; and 4) Submit application materials to CP-450.
