Scholarship Description
Antonia Maria Paula Bapat-Zaat Award Amount: $1,000 Established by: This scholarship is named for Antonia Maria Paula Bapat-Zaat to encourage and support emerging student leaders and scholars who have been involved at Cal State Fullerton and/or in the greater community and have emphasized academic achievement. The award will assist one undergraduate and one graduate student in meeting educational expenses so that they can continue to pursue leadership opportunities. Open to: This scholarship is open to new and continuing Human Communication Studies students who are pursuing an undergraduate or a graduate degree. Criteria: 3.0 GPAundergraduate ? 3.5 GPAgraduate ? Financial need ? Community service ? Departmental participation ? Extracurricular activities ? Leadership activities ? Essay Application Procedure: 1) Complete the SA application, answering all seven questions, and sign the certification; 2) Obtain the Antonia Maria Bapat-Zaat Award essay form from CP-420; 3) Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) (or have one on file) for establishing financial need; 4) Write an essay about your achievement; and 5) Submit completed application and essay to CP-420.
