- Scholarship Description
- Betty Lindeman and Robert N. Rosenthal Memorial Fund AWARD DETAILS Award is to be given annually to one or more student applicants to support their actual attendance at California State University, East Bay for graduate study in Speech Pathology and Audiology. This support shall be in the form of no-interest loans and scholarships in $500 and $1,000 per student increments, based on fund balance. Students who receive loans from the fund must repay each loan within two (2) years. The selection of students is to be based on both financial need and academic promise. If you currently already have a financial aid award package, the receipt of this award may impact it. Please contact the Financial Aid office for more information. AWARD DISBURSEMENT Disbursement is arranged for the awarded quarter(s) within 7-10 days of an award decision. Failure to attend during an awarded quarter will result in forfeiture of the award for that quarter and subsequent quarters. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Complete application and submit to the Department Chair, Dr. Patricia Lohman-Hawk. AWARD NOTIFICATION AND DISBURSEMENT Award notification will be provided by letter, which will contain information on claiming your award. Scholarship award may be used only for registration, fees, books, professional memberships and professional conferences. RESPONSIBILITIES OF SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS THANK THE DONOR! Submit your thank-you letter in care of the CSD Rosenthal Fund Committee.
