Excellence in Aphasia Group Treatment
- Scholarship Description
- Excellence in Aphasia Group Treatment AWARD REQUIREMENTS • Graduate Student in good standing in CSD* • Completed one course in aphasia or will complete during the Winter quarter • Complete a project that will benefit ATP; project will be jointly determined by recipient and Dr. Avent PURPOSE OF THE AWARD The purpose of the award is to provide a CSD graduate student advance experience in organizing, implementing, and maintaining an aphasia group treatment program. Dr. Avent will mentor the recipient over the course of a year. AWARD DISBURSEMENT The award is $3500. At the end of each quarter the recipient will receive $875. Failure to satisfactorily complete the project as judged by the Award Committee will result in forfeiture of the award for that quarter and subsequent quarters. In the case of a student resigning or being removed, the award will be available to another student.
