Scholarship Description
Financial Executive Internatinoal (FEI) Scholarship DESCRIPTION One or two $4000 scholarships for full-time students in the College of Business & Economics. Additional information on FEI may be found on the web at FEI.org. CRITERIA Must be a full-time student with an option in accounting or finance. Must be a junior or continuing senior. Must demonstrate strong academic performance and leadership. Must attend the CBE Annual Awards Banquet and should be able to attend the FEI Awards Banquet (Silicon Valley Chapter). REQUIRED MATERIALS Application form. A resume. A personal statement (2 pages maximum) that should include a summary of the following: important finance/accounting principles learned; what leadership skills have been demonstrated; plans immediately after graduation; current thoughts on career plans 5-10 years after graduation; and what benefits an FEI scholarship would bring to you. A printout of your unofficial transcript from "My CSUEB." OPTIONAL MATERIALS Up to two (2) letters of recommendation, preferably from CSUEB instructors.
