Presidential Scholars Award

Scholarship Description
This prestigious honor is reserved for current CSUN undergraduate students with a 3.50 GPA who have earned at least 60 units and for transfer students who have earned at least 24 Northridge units by the end of the Spring semester. Recipients of the scholarship will be continuing CSUN undergraduates. Presidential Scholars will be awarded a $5,000 Scholarship, a textbook discount at the Matador Bookstore, priority registration for classes, recognition by the University President, and an opportunity to work closely with a faculty mentor on a scholarly project.

Must be a current CSUN undergraduate student at the time of application and during award year. Must have a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA. Must be a US Citizen or Documented Non-Citizen. CSUN applicants must have completed at least 60 units, but no more than 96 cumulative units by the end of the Spring term; transfer students must have completed at least 24 units at CSUN, but no more than 96 cumulative units by the end of the Spring term. Must attend a MANDATORY Pre-Application Workshop. Must have a CSUN faculty member who agrees to sponsor a project each year of the award.
