H. Douglas Dean Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Description
The H. Douglas Dean Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of long-time Pepperdine University biology professor H. Douglas Dean. Dr. Dean passed away on June 24, 1992 after a career of service to Seaver College and the Churches of Christ. Dr. Dean was particularly interested in the relationships between the sciences and religion. Eligibility Criteria: * An academic major in religion or the natural sciences * Must have completed 30 credit hours at Pepperdine prior to the fall semester * Student must have demonstrated through his or her Christian faith and integrity a potential for leadership.
