William Lincoln Honnold Fellowship

Scholarship Description
Eligibility: Pomona College graduates who have completed four (4) full years of study at Pomona and have applied to graduate school. Restrictions: The purpose of this fellowship is to promote scholarship and scholarly work. Preference is given for graduate study in the area of the liberal arts and social sciences, as opposed to professional studies in law, medicine, business, engineering, etc. Stipend/Benefits: The award depends on the number of qualified candidates and the availability of funds. Awards typically range from $1,000 to $2,500, and funds are sent directly to the institution on behalf of the recipient. Criteria: Applicants must be rated in the upper half of their graduating class on the basis of junior and senior grades. They must show scholarly promise, industry, reliability, and character.
