Meta Marion Goldsmith Scholarship for Majors

Scholarship Description
* Foreign Language Majors will receive up to $2,500 ($1,250 per semester). * Have officially declared a major or minor in a foreign language at SJSU * Have completed at least one semester of foreign language study a the college level * Be a student enrolled in a foreign language class each of the semesters receiving the scholarship * Have an overall GPA of 3.0 * Have a Foreign Language GPA of 3.5 (3.75 for merit-only applicants) * The recommendation of a foreign language faculty member at SJSU * Financial need certified by the Office of Financial Aid or exceptional merit as determined by the Scholarship Committee (not needed for merit-only applicants) * Scholarships may be renewed for a second year, students need to reapply.
