Eaton Ecological Research Grants

Scholarship Description
In memory of Bill Eaton, a Joint Science ecology student, the Eaton family established a fund to support research by Joint Science students in ecologically related areas. Although the terms of the fund stipulate that awards are to be given to CMC students, the family allows grants to be awarded to deserving projects by Scripps and Pitzer students if those from CMC are lacking in number or acceptability. Two awards of $2,500 are normally made for research which will take place over 10 weeks in the summer. Supplies, minor equipment and incidental research expenses can be applied for up to a total of $250. A report is due at the end of the project period, and a copy will be sent to the Eatons.Joint Science students in ecologically related areas.
