Gerald and Regina Barbaresi Nursing Scholarship Fund
- Scholarship Description
- The student(s) must be entering his/her junior or senior year, or be a graduate student who has completed at least 12 credits of graduate work in the Nursing program at SCSU. The student(s) must be attending full-time as defined by the University. The student recipient(s) must be majoring in Nursing and be of high academic standing. The student(s) contributions to the University and/or the community will also be considered. The Gerald and Regina Barbaresi Nursing Scholarship Fund was established by Regina Lipowski Barbaresi, '51, and her late husband Gerald Barbaresi, '53, in appreciation of the education they both received from New Haven State Teachers College now Southern Connecticut State University. This education provided a solid foundation for their life work in working with children. The scholarship fund shall be used to assist Nursing students attending Southern Connecticut State University to enable the recipients to carryon this important work.
