- Scholarship Description
- This scholarship is established through The Clara and Dominick Buonaspina Scholarship Fund to provide enhanced educational opportunities to deserving students who will attend or is attending Dowling College. The scholarship is awarded on financial need, as determined by Dowling College, to any full-time Education major with a cumulative grade point average of C+ or greater in high school or a 2.0 or greater while attending Dowling College. Priority will be placed on awarding the scholarship to a student who is a permanent resident of Long Island. In the event that there are not any qualified applications that fit this criterion, then an Education major who is a permanent resident of New York State shall be eligible for consideration. To become eligible, all students will be required to complete and submit a Dowling College Application for Designated and Endowed Scholarships.
