The John and Marybeth Wooters Athletic Scholarship
- Scholarship Description
- This scholarship was donated by former swimmer John, C'75, and Marybeth Wooters, N'75, of Moorestown, New Jersey. A member of the Athletics Committee of the University Board of Regents, John has helped support swimming throughout the years. John has helped athletics as a staff member, coach and volunteer. He was the swim coach in the mid 70s and president of Hoyas Unlimited in the early 90s. He also has served on the Board of Governors of the Alumni Association and the Admissions Committee. The scholarship is awarded to one or more recruited undergraduate students participating in the Intercollegiate Swimming program at Georgetown.
