The McCann Family John Carroll Scholarship

Scholarship Description
This scholarship is open to all AFSCME members and staff who want to increase their leadership skills and to assist in the further development of the trade union movement. The International Union has established four (4) annual scholarships open to all AFSCME members and staff who are National Labor College students in good standing or applicants to the Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree program at the National Labor College, George Meany Campus. Twice per year, each scholarship will offer the scholarship recipients $1,000 to be applied to tuition, books and room and board. Each scholarship will be renewed for a second year based on satisfactory performance in the previous academic year. Deadline for application is February 28 each year.
