- Category(s): New Freshmen. Scholarship Description: Requirements: For incoming freshmen from the state of Iowa intending to major in the Industrial Technology Department. Students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 and demonstrate satisfactory progress toward a degree in the Department to keep the scholarship. Criteria to apply for the scholarship is being able to obtain admission to the University prior to the interview date, have a 3.0 GPA or higher from high school and a minimum ACT score of 24. A one page paper must be written as well answering the question Why choose the Industrial Technology department/majors? Qualified applicants must be available to attend the Interview Day in the department in January/ February. Further information will be mailed in the future to the qualified applicants. Please attach your essay as a word document or PDF. FAFSA Required: No. Amount of Award: $0 to $4890 per year. Comments: Qualified applicants must be available to attend the "Interview Day" in the department in January/February. Further information will be mailed in the future to the qualified applicants.
