Applicants must demonstrate unmet financial need, as determined by the federal financial aid form (FAFSA) from the Office of Financial Aid, and be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent resident. Recipients must be descendants of former residents of Cuba, in honor of Dr. Emilio Jané.
