- Scholarship Description
- The University of Akron Wayne College Founders Scholarships were established in 1998 to recognize the vital link between the College and its past and to increase access to higher education. The scholarships are awarded to the following categories: recent high school graduates, career center graduates, part-time students, continuing students and those providing financial need. Recipients of the $500 and $1,000 awards will be selected by the Founders Society, an organization comprised of early supporters of the College.
