Established in 2002 to benefit Kent State University Associate Degree Graduates. Student needs to be the recipient of a KSU technical associate degree and be admitted to study for a baccalaureate degree. Excellent prior academic performance as evidenced by a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. Evidence of motivation, character, ability and potential and demonstrate leadership on campus and community. A one or two page narrative is required. Narrative needs to describe goals for baccalaureate study and indicate how they derive from your work in the associate degree program. Also explain your activities and leadership on campus and the part they have played in assuring your success. Write something about your family and community activities and provide an example of two situations that reveal your motivation, character, ability and potential. Students must have earned a Kent State technical associate degree from a regional campus to qualify for this scholarship and be admitted into an upper level degree program at Kent State University.
