Honors Program

Scholarship Description
The Honors Program Scholarship is Clayton State University’s main academic scholarship for entering freshmen and students entering their junior year of college. In addition to receiving a monetary award, students selected for the limited number of Honors scholarships enjoy the wide array of benefits offered to all students in the Honors Program, including special course sections reserved for Honors students, priority registration, mentoring, career planning, and opportunities for leadership and travel. Scholarships are awarded competitively based on academic achievement and participation in extracurricular activities. All Honors students participate in the Honors Student Association. Currently enrolled students and transfer students are admitted to the program on a competitive, space available basis.
