Donaldson Memorial Science Scholarship
- Scholarship Description
- The application is available on the Web at http://www.covenant.edu/pdf/finaid/fa_donaldsonschlapp.pdf. This scholarship was established in 2004 to honor Dr. Charles Donaldson who taught math and science at Covenant College for more than 30 years. Criteria: • Freshman biology, chemistry, mathematics or physics major. • Applicants should demonstrate excellent abilities in the natural sciences and an interest in pursuing a greater understanding of the relationship between the Christian faith and modern science. • Minimum 3.0 GPA and 24 ACT or 1120 SAT(combined critical reading and math only) • Award: one merit based $9,000 scholarship • Other science scholarship packages may be awarded: $4000 - $8000 combined merit & need-based institutional package available to students in each of the following majors: biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics • Renewed with a 3.0 cumulative GPA and continuing in the major.
