Georgia Power Environmental Health Science Scholarship

Scholarship Description
Amounts Up to $3000 See website for this year's deadlines. Details The Georgia Power Environmental Health Science Scholarship was established to provide 2 scholarships in Environmental Health Science within the College of Public Health. Scholarships will be used to recruit members of diverse backgrounds. A faculty committee will be established within the department to select 2 students per year to receive the scholarships. Scholarships will be used to bring new students to UGA to major in Environmental Health. On an annual basis, a decision will be made to continue the scholarship to a student (based on their academic accomplishments and continuation of their major in Environmental Health) or whether to award to a new student. To be considered for this scholarship, students must apply as intended Environmental Health on their UGA application and be enrolled full-time during the fall and spring semesters. Students also complete their internship degree requirements at Georgia Power.
