To be competitive for this scholarship, students will have a freshman index of 3350-3400, and a SAT (Critical Reading and Math only) of at least 1300. The students who are most competitive for this scholarship will have near or above a 4.0 GPA. The Freshman Index is calculated as follows: SAT: Freshman Index = (Academic High School GPA x 500) + total SAT ACT: Freshman Index = (Academic High School GPA x 500) + (ACT Composite x 42) + 88 Students must be accepted for admission by February 1, 2008. Students accepted to UWG who meet these criteria (taken from their admissions application-no separate application for the scholarship is necessary), will be invited to campus to interview with Honors College staff and faculty.
