Ruth Musick Jackson Scholarship

Scholarship Description
Awarded to incoming freshman majoring in Education with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. This is a four-year scholarship provided recipient maintains minimum of 2.7 GPA. Recipient must be a resident of Coweta County. The scholarship was established by Ruth Jackson whose son, country singer and songwriter Alan Jackson honored her with a gift of money to be used for charitable purposes. Several members of the Jackson family, including Alan, attended the University of West Georgia and Ruth served as school dietitian in Coweta County.
