Band and Orchestra Scholarships

Scholarship Description
This scholarship fund was established for incoming freshmen who have scored at least 1100 on the SAT or 25 on the ACT and are in the top 20 percent of their high school class. Juniors and seniors must maintain a GPA of 2.8 at the end of their sophomore and junior year, respectively. The awards may be renewed, and the following majors are eligible: Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or other closely related majors. Preference is given to LaRoche Corporation employees and their dependents. Special consideration is also given to minorities and female students. Recipients are selected by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.
