Dollars for Scholars®, a program of Scholarship America®, is a national network of more than 1,200 grassroots, community-based, volunteer-driven scholarship foundations located throughout the United States. There are chapters in 42 states, as well as seven regional offices around the country that provide support. Founded in 1958, Dollars for Scholars is the longest-standing Scholarship America program. Last year, Dollars for Scholars chapters raised more than $58.3 million, awarded nearly $29 million in scholarships to more than 35,000 students, and invested the remainder primarily in endowment funds for future scholarships.Recipients of scholarship assistance through the Dollars for Scholars organization.GC is a Collegiate Partner of Scholarship America and the Dollars for Scholars (DFS) family of community scholarship foundations. GC will match DFS awards up to $750 per student.
