Carnegie Modern Languages Scholarship

Scholarship Description
We accept scholarship applications in French, Spanish, German, Arabic, Chinese, Italian, Japanese and Portuguese. All languages are taught in varying frequency. Please consult the course catalog or schedule of classes for more information. List the languages in which you have competency (and whether competency is spoken or written or both), the number of years studied and where, the level of language studied, time spent abroad; identify your native language(s).

Renewal Criteria
Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 and adhere to the participation requirements of the department. In the spring semester of each year, recipients must submit a scholarship renewal application to the department chairperson for approval. Forester Scholarships are renewable for up to four years for first-year students and on a pro- rated basis for transfer students.
