Academic Scholarships Renewability
- Scholarship Description
- Academic scholarships are renewable for up to four years (eight semesters) provided that certain conditions are met. In addition to the GPA requirements below, students must complete 15 hours of community service each year. This is coordinated through the Center for Public Service. The important point of difference at McKendree is that academic renewability criteria take effect at the conclusion of the sophomore year (fourth semester). It means that students who have completed their 15 hours of community service are not in danger of losing their academic scholarships after their first year in college.
