Awarded annually to a group of first-time freshman students, the Midwest Scholars Award recognizes exceptional students who have an interest in studying in the Midwest. Two students will earn full tuition scholarships and three students will earn $100,000 scholarships, $25,000 per year, that are renewable for up to three additional years, as long as the student maintains a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Midwest Scholars will be recognized inside and outside of the classroom as the leaders of their class. They will be offered opportunities to participate in the Honor’s program, research with faculty, experience special internships, or lead community service projects.

For the 2012-2013 academic year, three students will earn $25,000 scholarships (worth $100,000 over four years), and two students will earn full-tuition scholarships.
