Arthur D. Hill Jr. Memorial Scholarship
- Scholarship Description
- Recipients must have--or in the case of an incoming freshman, anticipate having--full-time status at Ball State. Recipients must be accepted to the School of Music and major in or intend to major in music education and must have as his or her major or minor instrument one of the orchestral strings (violin, viola, cello, or double bass). Recipients must maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or better. The Arthur Hill Scholar must already be a recipient of another School of Music scholarship. Eligible students must prepare written statements that answer questions about their goals as they pertain to string music education. The scholarship is renewable.
