IU East Distinguished Scholars (Merit)

Scholarship Description
$20,000 ($5,000 annually for 4 years) Deadline: December 1, admission and application Students ranking in the top 10 percent of their high school class with exceptional SAT (Math and Critical Reading) or ACT scores are eligible to apply for this competitive scholarship. Emphasis will be placed on academic excellence, but extracurricular activities and community service will also be considered. Distinguished Scholars will demonstrate a commitment to help promote IU East to future students through participation in new student recruitment and other campus activities. These scholars are also expected to apply and remain eligible for the Honors Program. (This award amount includes any other admission-based award offers). To be considered for renewal, students must attend full time and maintain at least a 3.3 GPA.
