Rooted in the Catholic and Franciscan Traditions of Faith and Reason, the University of Saint Francis engages a diverse community in learning, leadership and service.
Campus Ministry offers service grants to full-time students who would be interested in participating in the work of Campus Ministry. Students must be willing to be Christian leaders in the university community, to live out the Franciscan values that are foundational to our campus, to grow in faith and to encourage other students in the practice of their faith through campus ministry programs and liturgical ministries. Peer ministers serve in a variety of ministries including being chaplains in the residence halls, leading weekend retreats, small faith sharing groups or Scripture studies, helping with liturgical ministries, planning events and leading service projects. The average grant is $1,000 for an academic year, divided between fall and spring semester. Applications are available from Campus Ministry. Selection is made in the late spring and early summer since students will have reading to do during the summer and will come to campus in mid-August for formation.
