Graceland University Prestigious Honors Scholarships
Scholarship Description
Each year Graceland University selects four students of outstanding academic achievement to receive scholarships. Four scholarships valued at full tuition are awarded each year. These are competitive awards established to attract outstanding students to the Graceland Lamoni campus. Each scholarship is renewable for a total of four years, provided the student maintains a 3.75 cumulative GPA at the end of each Spring Semester and good standing in the Honors Program. The award is based on potential for academic scholarship and demonstrated exceptional talent in the arts and sciences. Recipients of these scholarships are not eligible for any other institutional aid. The actual value of this scholarship may vary each year as it will be reduced by all federal and state grant aid for which the student is eligible as determined by filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) annually. Eligibility: Entering freshman or transfer student. Minimum high school or college cumulative GPA of 3.75. Minimum ACT/SAT composite scores: ACT — 27; SAT — 1220. Expected to file FAFSA annually (U.S. citizens). Join the Honors Program and remain in good standing. Evaluation: Applicants will be evaluated on these criteria: Academic success. Communication and leadership. An essay showing the student’s level of achievement in an academic area.
