Northwestern College is a Christian academic community engaging students in courageous and faithful learning and living that empowers them to follow Christ and pursue God’s redeeming work in the world.
The Northwestern Art Scholarship is available for students who show exceptional talent and who intend to major in art at Northwestern College. A limited number of these scholarships are awarded by the art department faculty in conjunction with the financial aid office. To apply for a Northwestern Art Scholarship, applicants must submit examples of their artwork to the chair of the college's art department. The scholarship is renewable as long as students show growth and maturity as an art major, take at least one art major course per semester, and maintain a 3.0 GPA both cumulatively and in their major. The scholarships are evaluated on a yearly basis.
