Award: $450 to $1,000 a year; number of awards vary Must be a voice major, or voice must be principal instrument Must maintain music major status with a minimum course load of 15 credit hours per semester (6 hours per semester for graduate students) Must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and minimum 3.0 GPA in music courses each semester Must enroll in both applied music lessons and assigned music ensemble each semester Must make an exemplary contribution to the Department of Music through music performance and studies and make satisfactory progress toward completion of the degree Vocalists must audition for Madrigal Singers each fall semester and Opera Workshop each spring semester Application requirement: Audition.
