Begley Scholarship

Scholarship Description
A competitive scholarship for graduating high school seniors based on the following requirements: 1. an ACT composite score of 24 or above; 2. class ranking in the top 10% at the end of the junior year; 3. acceptance for admission and financial aid paperwork (FAFSA, financial aid application, and draft letter completed by March 15); 4. completion of the application process by Feb. 15; and 1. typewritten essay (one page in length) on a topic chosen by the scholarship committee, 2. three letters of reference (two from high school instructors in math, science, or English; one from any source), 5. attendance at an interview conducted by the Begley Scholarship Committee on Begley Scholars Day. This scholarship, which is is not based on need, covers tuition, fees, room and board. If a student chooses to commute, the scholarship will cover tuition and fees only.
