- The Honors College provides financial assistance primarily to entering freshmen classified as General Scholars and University Scholars. All awards are competitive. The General Scholars award includes the cost of tuition or room and board and an amount that will help defray the cost of books and supplies. The University Scholars award includes the cost of tuition, out-of-state fees (if applicable), room, board and an amount that will help to defray the cost of books and supplies. Primary Criteria General Scholars - ACT/SAT minimum of 23/1060; 3.3 minimum cumulative grade point average University Scholars - ACT/SAT minimum of 27/1210; 3.5 minimum grade point average.
